A viewing party hosted by new Rideau-Vanier Councillor Stéphanie Plante (left), Croatian Ambassador Vice Skračić (centre), and Rideau-Rockcliffe Councillor Rawlson King, was well attended despite the early start time.
Nov. 27 — The Bridge Public House at the Rideau Sports Centre was jam packed for Canada’s second World Cup match, against Croatia. Unfortunately Canada lost the match to Croatia 4-1, despite a notable goal by Canadian Alphonso Davies.
