Community Newspaper of Ottawa’s Sandy Hill neighbourhood
For more than 35 years, IMAGE newspaper has been delivering news, commentary and advertising to the people of Sandy Hill. Produced by volunteer members of the community, the paper is a labour of love and an established feature of the Sandy Hill scene.
Distribution
The press run for each issue is 7,500 copies, delivered promptly to all homes and businesses in the neighbourhood. As well, bundles are left at community centres and University of Ottawa gathering places.
Sandy Hill’s boundaries are Rideau Street to the north, the Queensway to the south, Rideau River to the east and the Canal to the west. It includes a settled residential neighbourhood of family homes, a lively university student demographic, and many shops, embassies, and non-governmental organizations.
